Friday, September 11, 2025, at the Parish Hall of Saint Mary Magalen Church, 2005 Berryman, Berkeley, at 6.30
The Yarrow Consort:
Joe Edelberg, Stacey Pelinka, David Morris,
Yuko Tanaka, Michelle Kennedy, Kati Kyme, Anthony Martin, and Farley Pearce
Stepping Across: Blavet, Couperin,
Rameau, Telemann, Bach

The opening concert of our 26-27 season is, for us, a rarity: a wild variety of textures. We’ll hear from pieces for two players (Blavet, Couperin) to chamber music for several players (Telemann Paris Quartet), to an operatic aria or two (Rameau) to a concerto for a true chamber orchestra with a trio in the middle (Bach’s Brandenberg Concerto # 5 ).
The Yarrow Consort is an inflorescence of favorite Bay area talents, all well known to you from many concerts: Joe Edelberg; violin, Stacey Pelinka; flute, Yuko Tanaka; harpsichord, David Morris: ‘cello, Michelle Kennedy; soprano, Kati Kyme, violin, Antony Martin: viola, and Farley Pearce; bass. We’re very lucky to have so many fine musicians on the stage to kick off the season.
